Chelsea press conference live: Maurizio Sarri on Man United draw, touchline drama & Mourinho

Good afternoon and welcome to Stamford Bridge where Maurizio Sarri is speaking to the press after his side's 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

Heading into the international break on the back of a 3-0 win over Southampton which put them level on points with Manchester City and Liverpool, Chelsea got off to the perfect start when Antonio Rudiger powered home Willian's corner.

The second half started with Alvaro Morata forcing a decent save from David de Gea before Anthony Martial took advantage of chaos in the home side's box to convert from close range and bring the Red Devils level.

That goal sparked the Blues into life once more and David Luiz was unlucky to glance a header wide of the far post. Minutes later de Gea kept out a fine effort from N'Golo Kante and looked like being the turning point.

United took advantage of the hosts committing men forward in search of a winner as Martial grabbed his second of the afternoon with a fine finish and that looked to be the goal which sealed all three points for Jose Mourinho on his return to west London.

However, Ross Barkley had other ideas as he slammed the ball home from close range to rescue a point for Chelsea in injury time.

This result does means Chelsea have missed the chance to open up a lead - albeit temporarily - over the Citizens and Liverpool.
