Arda Turan could face years in prison after being charged following an alleged fight with a pop star in a nightclub.
Turan is on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir having struggled to make the grade at Barcelona .
He was questioned by police last Thursday over the alleged incident which took place in Istanbul.
Turan was summoned to make a statement after police received reports of the player's alleged clash with singer Berkay Sahin.
Turan rejected allegations he harassed Sahin and that a bullet fired from his pistol when he subsequently went to the hospital where Sahin was being treated for an injury was fired by mistake as he was tucking the gun in his waist.

Turan is alleged to have attacked the pop star in a fight over the singer's wife. He was then said to have goaded the celebrity to shoot him with a gun he brought into hospital.
Turkish TV station have published footage showing the aftermath of the incident outside a nightclub.
