Chelsea Chairman admits his club will do everything to ‘entice’ Hazard to stay

27-year-old Belgium international Hazard has established himself as one of Europe’s deadliest attacking players since moving to West London for £32 million from French side Lille in the summer of 2012.

While the mercurial playmaker has enjoyed plenty of success with Chelsea – winning two Premier League titles – he has openly admitted that his dream since he was a child is to play for Real Madrid.

Hazard has been stalling on a signing a new contract with the Blues for the best part of a year now, with his current deal running out at the end of next season, although he has insisted that if he is to leave Chelsea he wants to do so on good terms.

Chelsea Chairman Buck is well aware of how popular Hazard is among his clubs supporters and reassured them that the Blues hierarchy will do their best to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.

Every Chelsea fan in London and around the world loves Eden Hazard,” Buck told beIN SPORTS.

And he’s not only a great footballer but I think he’s a wonderful lad.

And we want him to stay and we’ll do what we have to do to entice him to stay.

Hazard has begun this season in the form of his life, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in just six Premier League starts.
